WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 29, 2009 – The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) is going to “L” – 1331 L Street NW, Suite 650, to be specific – as of August 1, 2009.

The trade association for the U.S. cleaning products industry is moving from 1500 K Street NW after nearly a decade at that address.

SDA’s new location will offer the association approximately 9,700 square feet in one of DC’s first office buildings designed for Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Certification.

“SDA will still be in the center of Washington, D.C., offering our members and staff a modern, convenient, Metro-accessible location,” said Ernie Rosenberg, SDA President and CEO.

SDA (www.cleaning101.com) moved to DC in 2000 after 75 years in New York City. The association represents the manufacturers of household, industrial, and institutional cleaning products, their ingredients and finished packaging; oleochemical producers; and chemical distributors to the cleaning products industry.

The formal address of SDA will be 1331 L Street NW, Suite 650, Washington, D.C. 20005. The main phone number will remain 202-347-2900.
